Academic and administrative activities are to resume again tomorrow (Monday 18th May, 2015) at the Lagos State University (LASU) amidst unresolved issues. The school was closed on 23rd March in order to forestall any unforeseen circumstance during the March and April 2015 general elections. The decision was taken at a Consultative meeting of the representative of the Governing Council, university management and executives of the students union. While the school reopen on Monday (May 18, 2015), the state government is to provide adequate security on campus as dialogue continues between the university management and the staff unions under the auspices of the Governing Council.
