A suicide bomber suspected to be of the dreaded Boko Haram Islamic sect, killed three civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) members yesterday at a checkpoint near Maiduguri.
According to a report from SaharaReporters, the male suicide bomber who rode on a bicycle to Balevillage near Giwa Barracks detonated the bomb at the outskirts of the city,about 3km to Giwa Barrack, killings at least 3 peopleand injuring four others.A top civilians source told SaharaReporters that asuicide bomber killed three of their men at acheckpoint.Another source said ''a suicide bomber came on abicycle about 06:07 pm before our men could realizewho he was he blew up himself and killed threeothers, so we have taken the injured ones to thehospital.
